How to integrate the shop with the sitebuilder pages you will
create.
The steps for integrating / linking your
site to the shopping cart are:
1. Log into your sitebuilder account and
create your home page to add content to it and let customers know
about your great site and
why they should be there. When you make a change to your site, just go to the Publish tab and republish the updated pages to your site.
2. Create other pages like the About Us,
Products, and other pages with titles that relate specifically to
what you sell and that make you distinct from the competition.
3. Separately, from the shopping cart
control panel at
your /shop/owner area
You will need to log in a create
the categories, and the items that you want to have for sale.
4. Then ask us to do 2 things for you:
a. Change the products page link to go directly to the shop
b. Set up the shop custom header and footer to make the shopping cart look like the rest of the site.

5. An optional step would be to add links from your other pages in order to link directly to a category of items or an individual item:
For example, a link to a category would look like the one below:

The links are generally in the format of:
/shop/?cat=1
/shop/?cat=2
And a link to an individual item would look like: :

6. As we mention in step 4 above, the shop starts off with a generic look. In order for the shop to fit in with the rest of
your site, we can insert the Custom Header and Custom Footer
HTML for you. That would make the shop page
/shop/ look more like your
home page. An example of this is at
http://demoshop.precisionweb.net/shop/ The best time to do this
is after you've created all the pages that you want on your
site; in that way the shop header has the links to all your pages.
